By default, the FLEX reads CAN-bus data with the CANcliQ module: a patented data extractor which reads vehicle signals without a wire to wire connection. The DatacliQ SFD works in the same way as the CANcliQ and reads serial bus protocols for SAE J1708, K-line and ISO 11992 signals (in addition to CAN signals).

The “cliQ” technology has been developed with the intention of avoiding liability issues, warranty problems and irreversible installation errors in mind.
